Takamine EG530SSC Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar Review :: Acoustic-Electric Guitar
large-volume punchy rhythms + leads rip right on up to the higher registers.
Description
The Takamine EG530SSC Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar is offering you superior sound thanks to the solid spruce top on a sepele body.
The neck is made of mahogany with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. The built-in TK4NT preamp gives you a tunable notch filter, switchable midrange contour and a handy onboard tuner. A solid spruce top and big dreadnought body pump out large-volume punchy rhythms while the cutaway lets leads rip right on up to the higher registers.
A solid nato back adds projection while a built-in preamp translates all that tone into the electric realm. The Takamine EG530SSC Cutaway features include Abalone dot inlays and rosette, sealed nickel tuners, bound neck and body and a black pickguard. High-end sound at a fraction of the price of other guitars!

- the sound is bright and clean;
- it performs well both acoustically and amplified;
- is very well constructed both inside and outside;

Cons
- it needs a little more bass;
- some owners complained that there is a bit of a figure in the spruce to the left of the sound hold;
- a few some reported that this guitar seems to resonate too much.
