Gibson Les Paul Standard Double Cut Plus Guitar Review :: Electric Guitars Reviews
true tone factory and a speed demon
In response to requests from guitarists, Gibson enhanced the traditional styling of the Les Paul Standard with a double-cutaway body.
The beautiful figuration of a “Plus” top adds an extra touch of elegance from the Les Paul’s revered.
Super fast with fantastic LP tone with scorching electronics!
Featuring the modern look and fast feel of the LP double-cutaway body, the Gibson Les Paul Standard Double Cut Plus Electric Guitar is a
true tone factory and a speed demon. The 490R alnico magnet humbucker at the neck and 498T humbucker at the bridge provide a huge,
chunky sonic palette that'll take you from L.A. to Nashville to Chicago. The rosewood fingerboard on these musical instruments has a full 24-fret reach and a silky,
tight feel that's both fast and accessible. The carved figured maple top is sensually shaped and fairly glows, set off perfectly by the
gold hardware. Mahogany back and neck, with tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece.
